shardenfraude

Looks like a Labour Mayor is being done for child porn offenses, but before revealing in the shardenfraude that a member of the party of the prudes has just got stung by some of their own legislation it is best to remember that he is only suspected. He is not guilty and will not be until proven so by a court of law, something that this Labour government singularly fails to understand. It should also be noted that the legislation he is being prosecuted classifies child porn to include 16 and 17 year olds (that is people who the law thinks perfectly capable of making up their own minds when it comes to sex) or people that look as if they could be under 18 in poses that could be construed as sexual, thought crimes. Now for the shardenfraude.

Also, former mayor of Hebden Royd, which is a bit like being mayor of Brixham really. And he was a paper candidate in a no-hope ward, which happens to contain my fiancée's pub and be a rather nice place (and one of the safest Lib Dem wards in the country apparently).

Tis weird when the national news is right next door to you. And yeah, there is an air of 'well he must be guilty' about him, which I naturally dislike.

But it's quite good for the local voting I suspect.

And I remember from 30 years or so back, when Mayfair (so soft a skin mag that it sold in WHSmith) had photo-sets of 16 year olds.

How times have changed (and not for the better).
